Demo Days

Welcome to Demo Days 2.0—March through May 2024

 

Similar to the first round of demonstrations in late 2023, myURHR Demo Days 2.0 will feature live guided tours and new topics.

Many of the sessions are geared toward audiences who will perform specific functions in myURHR such as payroll costing allocations, payroll accounting adjustments, managing student workers, coordinating graduate student appointments, and more. Additionally, employee self-service and timekeeping sessions will be offered again due to the large impact these topics have on our University community.

Demo Days 2.0 Session Descriptions

Payroll Costing Allocations (PCAs) and Payroll Accounting Adjustments (PAAs)

For department coordinators (currently known as PAFers), departmental and divisional finance approvers, union coordinators, faculty coordinators, and grad/undergrad coordinators and others who do PCAs and PAAs.

This session will provide insights into the processes for Payroll Costing Allocations and Payroll Accounting Adjustments.

myURHR and Student Workers

For managers of student workers

During this session, get a closer look at how JobLink and myURHR will work together, and see some of the changes being introduced with myURHR.

myURHR and Faculty

For faculty coordinators (PAFers/departmental administrators who handle faculty transactions)

During this session, get a glimpse of the changes coming for hiring and onboarding faculty members once the faculty recruitment concludes in UR Faculty. Plus, learn about the digital workflow that is replacing the 510 Form.

Timekeeping for UKG Advanced Scheduling Populations

For current UKG schedulers and timekeepers, mainly in Nursing and Orthopedics, who already use UKG Dimensions for advanced scheduling.

This session will explain how the new time entry/timekeeping process will work with schedules for those already using UKG for scheduling.

Graduate Student Appointments

For graduate student coordinators

During this session, get a glimpse of the changes coming to the processes for graduate student appointments paid via stipend.

Effort Reporting/Certification

For research administrators, ORPA, ORACS, Deans’ Offices, researchers, and anyone involved in the effort reporting/certification process.

During this session, get a sneak peek at certifying and reporting effort in myURHR.

Employee Self-Service (repeat sessions)

For all University members

During the Employee Self-Service session, you will get a sneak peek of how you can easily access, review, and update your personal information, view your pay slips, request time off, and more. This session will also introduce the two systems that power myURHR: Workday and UKG (Dimensions) and what activities will take place in each system.

Timekeeping (repeat sessions)

For managers and timekeepers

During this session, get a closer look at reviewing employee timecards, responding to time off requests, and utilizing data available to you in UKG.

For all University members

Change Job
