Call Center Representative

What does a Call Center Representative do?

The Call Center Representative is responsible for collecting and updating confidential patient information, scheduling appointments, and troubleshooting patient questions. They may also assist with provider/service referrals.

Minimum education and experience

High school education and one to two years of hospital and/or receptionist/customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

To be successful in the role, the candidate must have strong attention to detail and prioritization skills. In addition, they will have knowledge of medical terminology, keyboarding skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook).

Days/hours

Typically, regular weekday business hours, may include evening and/or weekend hours at some locations.

• Rochester Tech Park
• Remote Work Locations (after initial training is complete)

Pay range

$18.00 – $23.40 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
