To serve the unique needs of our diverse international community, ISO has specialized teams for student services and scholar and employee services. This is in addition to our full administrative staff, which includes leadership, systems and operational expertise, and additional support and engagement for our international community.

Our Student Services team assists nonimmigrant students pursuing full-time studies or other specific academic objectives, with or without pursuing a University degree program. We also support non-University-sponsored students from organizations like Fulbright.
The immigration categories the student services team supports include:
International students must first apply and be admitted to their desired program before working directly with the Student Services team on their immigration needs. Our team also assists the University’s admitting departments with planning and information to bring foreign students to their programs.
F-1 and J-1 students are assigned an immigration advisor on the Student Advising team. This assignment is based on the first letter of your surname.

Our Scholar and Employee Services team assists temporary nonimmigrant workers engaged in authorized employment or self-sponsored research activities at the University. We also assist the departments or administration offices intending to hire or host international visitors.
