Elizabeth Milavec named EVP for Administration and Finance and CFO

The University has announced that, following an extensive national search, Elizabeth Milavec has been selected as the University’s inaugural executive vice president for administration and finance and chief financial officer. Milavec served as Rochester’s interim senior vice president for administration and finance, CFO, and treasurer since November 2021, and came to the University in 2016 as associate vice president for financial operations and controller.

More about the position

Reporting directly to the President, this position oversees the planning and management of University finances and serves as a steward of University resources. This position works as a trusted partner to the President and Board of Trustees on financial planning and strategy, allocation and management of resources, and development and leadership of strategic plans. In addition, the EVP will work closely with other leaders and University-wide constituents to strengthen the University’s financial policies, and amplify strategies to serve the University’s academic, research, clinical, and service missions.
