The genetic screening of fertilized human embryos poses ethical questions. Are there limits on what should be screened for? And if there are limits, are they justified within the existing ethical framework? Erin Taylor, assistant professor of philosophy at Cornell University, will discuss the topic in her presentation “Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis and the Non-Identity Problem” from noon to 1 p.m. in K-207 (2-6408), Medical Center. Lunch will be provided.
