Grads can ‘cap’ their day in style at decorating event

It’s Commencement Week, and seniors can decorate their graduation cap for free on Thursday, May 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Hirst Lounge, Wilson Commons.

The annual event is part of Seniors Week and is sponsored by Wilson Commons Student Activities.

Bring your graduation cap and  your imagination, and choose from paint, stickers, letters and much more to “cap” your day in style. Graduating seniors also can have their photo taken in front of a memory board that highlights what students will miss most about the University.

Bubble guns will be given to the first 200 participants.

There also will be a Forever Better Challenge table. Students who have contributed can pick up a “donor” pin to wear on graduation day.
