In preparation for the demolition of the Mt. Hope Professional and Towne House buildings at Mt. Hope and Elmwood avenues, the Medical Center is sponsoring a surplus property sale in the Mt. Hope Professional Building from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, to Thursday, Aug. 30. The sale will feature gently used office furniture, equipment, and fixtures. Aug. 28 will be reserved for departmental purchases only. The sale will be open to University employees and the general public on Aug. 29 to 30.
Cash, personal checks (made payable to the University of Rochester), and 312 requisitions will be accepted. Deliveries to the Medical Center and River Campus will be available for a nominal fee. Transportation arrangements for personal purchases are the responsibility of the buyer. All sales will be final and as is.
