The Gwen M. Greene Career and Internship Center is rolling out a new career community model—a network of partners (Career Center staff, alumni, employers, faculty, parents and families, student groups, and students) from a group of related industries to help students learn more about and connect with industries and professions. By connecting with the “career communities” early in their academic career, students can begin to gain insight into their values, interests, personality, and skills and how they connect to the possibilities for your future. More information will be available in the fall semester.

New career exploration course offered

Students will complete self-assessment activities, research academic and career options, write reflection papers, and have conversations with Rochester alumni. The course carries one credit and runs for seven weeks. Contact Laura Jones, laura.a.jones@rochester.edu, with questions.
