Clinical trial to test hydroxychloroquine in COVID-19 patients

Medical Center researchers are joining national clinical trials to evaluate whether an FDA-approved anti-malarial drug can keep COVID-19 patients alive and out of the hospital. While the drug, hydroxychloroquine, has been widely touted as a potential treatment for COVID-19, earlier research studies have been contradictory and inconclusive.(Associated Press)
