President Joel Seligman joined 165 other university presidents and chancellors in calling on leaders in Washington to close what they call the “innovation deficit.”

The City of Rochester and University will host the Rochester Employment Training and Career Fair on Aug. 22 and 23 to bolster employment for city residents and promote professional opportunities for minority job seekers.

The University of Rochester has received $168,000 through NYSEG/RG&E’s Commercial and Industrial Rebate program for leadership in data center energy efficiency.

The officers will now begin a five-month peace officer academy program for training and certification.
