Paving Planned for Mt. Hope Avenue Corridor

The southbound lanes of Mt. Hope Avenue will be closed for paving from Sept. 20–28. Traffic patterns will also be changed to pave Raleigh Street, Rossitor Road,Crittenden Boulevard, and the Elmwood and Mt. Hope Avenue intersection.

Food Drive Takes Aim at Childhood Hunger

To celebrate the International Day of Peace, the AC6 cultural diversity committee and Strong Memorial Hospital Professional Nursing Council are collecting individually packaged food items for Foodlink’s BackPack program. Cans of tuna and hard granola bars are a particular need this year. Units may collect items during the next few weeks and then deliver them to the main lobby of the hospital from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21.
