Anthony Kinslow named associate vice president for human resources

Tony Kinslow will join the University in March and succeeds Chuck Murphy, who retired on Feb. 2 after 17 years at the University. Kinslow’s duties will encompass human resources programs and services for every division of the University.

Ainslie: ‘Taking Meckling’s vision into the future’

The University celebrated Andrew Ainslie’s appointment as dean of the Simon Business School at an investiture ceremony at the Interfaith Chapel on Feb. 3. During the ceremony, President Joel Seligman presented Ainslie with a Dean’s Medal in recognition of his leadership.

Susan B. Anthony Center honors Dr. Linda Chaudron with Lifetime Achievement Award

Linda Chaudron, professor of psychiatry, of obstetrics and gynecology, and of pediatrics and senior associate dean for diversity at the University of Rochester’s School of Medicine and Dentistry, will receive this year’s Susan B. Anthony Lifetime Achievement Award for her work as a champion of women in science and medicine.

MAG closed today after nearby fire

Statement from President Seligman on 2015 LLE funding

President Seligman issued a statement in response to the fiscal year 2015 Omnibus Appropriations bill released by the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee on Dec. 9. The House of Representatives is planning to vote as early as Thursday on the measure, which would then go to the Senate. Current government funding runs out on Dec. 11.
