Sixteen reap All-America honors in ’13-14
In terms of individual success, Rochester enjoyed one of its finest seasons this year. A total of 16 student-athletes earned All-America honors for their achievements, representing soccer, squash, swimming, diving, golf, rowing, and softball.

The Brian F. Prince Athletic Complex will encompass and improve Fauver Stadium, the baseball field area, the Lyman Outdoor Tennis Center, and the north field practice area.
Field Hockey Earns First NCAA Bid
Rochester received its first-ever berth into the NCAA Division III field hockey playoffs and will host a first round game on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets will face Rowan University of the New Jersey State Athletic Conference.

Rochester celebrates the 40th anniversary of Title IX and the pioneering alumnae whohave seen remarkable changes when it comes to the equitable distribution of athletic resources at universities since the early 1970s.
Gift to University Will Benefit the Sciences and Athletics
The gift will be used to create the Barbara J. Burger Endowed Scholarship in the Sciences, which will support one or more undergraduates each year in the pursuit of degrees in biology, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, or physics.
EVENT: Girls Rule at University of Rochester Soccer Clinic
The Girls Rule Soccer Clinic provides young girls in the Greater Rochester region the opportunity to interact with members of Rochester’s Varsity Soccer team as they practice drills including shooting, passing, and juggling.
