Effective 12/31/2024, OHSP will no longer reimburse fees related to professional research certification/re-certification (e.g., ACRP CRA, CRC, PI and CP certifications and SOCRA CRP certification).
All staff requesting reimbursement for initial certification and/or certification maintenance following the New Year, must be submitted directly to their department.
OHSP has previously supported this practice via fees charged for OHSP-led training events. As OHSP stopped charging fees for access to OHSP training roughly 10 years ago, this practice is no longer sustainable. However, OHSP will continue to support study team members seeking certification by providing free certification exam study materials and continuing education opportunities that are eligible for certification maintenance credit.
