OHSP has revised the relying consent template language; this language should be used when the University of Rochester relies on an external Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the review and approval of their research.
Updates to the template include:
- Additional links/reference to language concerning use of the Advarra Participant Payment System, HIV testing, and genetic testing.
- Additional editorial revisions.
Note: Study teams are not required to revise approved consent documents; however, the revised template language should be used for new studies going forward.
