Who can use the services offered by the University Ombuds?

Any member of the University community can utilize our services, including students, faculty, and staff. This also includes those employed within the Medical Center in addition to the University setting, as well.

Are conversations with the University Ombuds confidential?

Conversations with our team are generally considered confidential. Confidentiality cannot be promised if there is an imminent risk of serious harm, threats to public safety, or if compelled by a court of law.

University policy may require you to pursue alternative compliant processes depending on your situation, or if you want the University to respond formally in any way.
