Parking permit renewal season is here, and the Department of Transportation and Parking is sharing some good news. Employees will see no increase in their permit fee for the 2023-24 parking year. For the fourth consecutive year, offsite and remote lot rates have not increased. Starting on July 1, there will be no parking fee for Shuttle Lot 24-Scottsville Road. A permit will still be required to park in the lot, and the employee Scottsville shuttle will remain in place.
This is another step by Transportation and Parking to provide cost-effective options that meet the needs of employees. In an effort to advance parking equity, a new rate structure based on employee salary band was implemented last year.
