their baby girl, Haley Maren, born on October 26, 2000. She weighed 6 lbs.,
9 oz. and was 21 inches long. "We're enjoying parenthood and are living

was selected by Gov. Tommy Thompson of Wisconsin to the Wisconsin Technology
and Entrepreneurs Council, whose goal is to promote the development of science-
and technology-based businesses. . . . Keith Lamoutte e-mails that he
and his and wife, Katy, have a new son, William Patrick, born October 25, 2000.
"All are happy, healthy, and very tired," he writes. Keith started

School of Law. She specializes in copyright, trademark, trade secret, and related
corporate matters for the New York City law firm of Pennie & Edmoncs, L.L.P.
. . . The comic strip Birdbun Theatre, by cartoonist Dennis Tucker,
appears weekly on a Web site set up by Tucker and his partner, Miguel Colon.
The strip also has begun a Spanish edition. Tucker and Colon formed a company

every Sunday. . . . Cara Sucher e-mails that she met another Rochester
graduate in an unlikely place. While working as supervisor of lab operations
at Palmer Station on the Antarctic peninsula, she worked with Robin Ross
'68, a biological oceanographer at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
It's the unique working environment that brings them back, Cara writes. "With
penguins, whales, seals, and-of course-krill right in your front yard, who could
resist?"

Jennifer Best wrote in April that she was scheduled to run the Kona
marathon to benefit the American Stroke Association in June. She trained for
the grueling 26.2-mile course with the Boston team. As part of the program,
the runners were required to raise $4,400 in donations. When she's not training,
she is working on her Ph.D. in biology at Harvard University. She can be contacted

Keri Claiborne e-mails to announce her planned July wedding to Andrew
Boyle. Maggie Apps and Jeannie Hassouna were to be in the wedding

Char Bergerson '00M (PhD) and G. Robert Witmer III '00M (PhD)
were scheduled to be married on May 20. She is on the pediatrics staff at Children's
Hospital of Philadelphia, and he is a resident in internal medicine at Thomas
Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. . . . Miranda Berner e-mails:
"After couchsurfing for about three years around the world, working all
kinds of jobs, I decided to hang my hat in Manhattan for awhile, work a career-type
job, pay rent, find a doctor, and all of that. I am working for a revenue-generating
Internet company in Silicon Alley (Gromco, Inc.). I ran into Belinda Birnbaum
'95 at my own birthday party (she's a doctor, just like she always said she
was going to be!). Yes, I still throw huge birthday parties for myself. And
yes! Everyone is always invited (September 7-in case anyone wants to plan in
advance). Jennifer Gullace '95 is working for Art's Link, a nonprofit
that organizes artistic exchanges between Eastern Europe and the United States.
Anat Einy '95 is a physical therapist and has introduced me to some excellent
kosher restaurants in Manhattan. Delila Khaled '95 is in D.C. saving
the world, along with Keith Hart, who is doing this also, but in Maryland.
Jennifer Falk '94, who I ran into at a margarita joint in L.A. a few
summers back, is the press secretary for the Administration for Children's Services
for New York City and has been one of the biggest helps to me in figuring out
how to handle things 'like a New Yorker.' Ngozi Okereke is living in
Brooklyn and drives like an Indy 500 racer. Gerry Rustic '95 has a band
that plays at Don Hill's all the time. Could somebody please tell me what Dan
Bergan '95 is doing? Big Kisses." . . . Amy Collins has been
