Lawrence Lipman and Ronnee Press Lipman ’70 were honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center—a nonprofit full-service health facility in Newburgh, N.Y.—at a dinner attended by nearly 400 supporters. Larry delivered the keynote speech calling for more charitable giving by the community. The Lipman family was also presented with its second “Pillar of the Community” award for leadership in raising the funds initially needed to open the agency’s dental center 12 years ago, as well as the funds to sustain the center and support its growth. Larry has practiced law in New Jersey for 35 years, and Ronnee has been a middle-school teacher there for 30 years. Both of their children, Matthew, an attorney, and Andrea, a computer technology executive, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
