1986

Howard Zemsky (MBA) was nominated by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to be the head of the Empire State Development Corp. The job is considered the state’s top economic development position. Managing partner of the Buffalo-based Larkin Development Group, Howard has been cochair of the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council. According to a story in the Buffalo News, he plans to accept a salary of $1 per year and remain in Buffalo.

1987

Martin Duffy (MBA) has been named director of the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Florida State College in Cocoa, Florida.

1994

Anthony Hahn (MBA) has been chosen to become director of administrative services for the Niagara Falls Water Board, where he’ll oversee contracts and insurance. Previously, Anthony was administrative director of the Niagara County Sewer District.

2002

Sandra Rowland (MBA) has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer of Harman, a Stamford, Connecticut, designer and manufacturer of audio, visual, and infotainment products.

2006

Nehal Chokshi (MBA) has been named vice president and senior enterprise and consumer technology analyst at the New York investment banking firm Maxim Group.
