President Seligman to Receive South District Community Ambassador Award

President Joel Seligman will receive the South District Community Ambassador Award for 2006 from Rochester City Councilman Adam C. McFadden at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 30, at the Highland Hospital auditorium. The public is invited to attend.

The councilman chose the president for the award because of “the importance you have placed on community-university relations and for your dedication to the completion of the Brooks Landing project. It has given many of us tremendous hope for our neighborhoods,” McFadden said.

McFadden’s district includes the University of Rochester. Several other community leaders will be honored at the ceremony, which will be held at 1000 South Ave.
