The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the Student Association will lead a two session professional development session for faculty. The aim is to provide skills for faculty in their interactions with students from the many diverse backgrounds who enroll as undergraduates at the University of Rochester. With students from SA’s DEI committee leading these sessions, faculty will gain a student perspective on current and prevalent on-campus topics related to DEI.

The curriculum is based on a training the SA DEI committee offered to SA Officers last year and was developed in conjunction with the Burgett Intercultural Center. Participants should commit to attending both Part I and Part II.
