Equal Pay Day 2024

National Equal Pay Day symbolizes how far into the year the average woman must work to earn what the average man earned in the previous year. This year, Equal Pay Day falls on March 12th.

On average, women make 16% fewer than their male counterparts for the same work. This gap is even worse for mothers (29%), black women (31%), native women (41%) and Latino women (43%).
