International Women’s Day 2025

The University of Rochester Susan B. Anthony Center invites you to join us for “Support the Supporters: Amplifying Women’s Initiatives,” a celebration of International Women’s Day 2025.

This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action,” calls on communities to unite and take bold steps toward achieving gender equity.

This special program will highlight the vital work of local non-profit organizations that empower women and girls in Rochester. The event will feature a panel discussion where four community leaders will:

Share an overview of their organization’s mission, key initiatives, and impact.
Highlight challenges and opportunities in advancing equity for women.
Participate in a moderated Q&A session, inviting attendees to explore how to support these         efforts and take meaningful action.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate local leadership, foster community connections, and identify actionable ways to amplify the work of non-profit organizations driving change for women in Rochester.
