Message from Co-chairs

University of Rochester staff are integral and valued members of our campus and local communities. We bring a vast array of knowledge, skills, and talents to areas reaching all corners of our organization ranging from dining services, facilities, and advancement to public safety, student services, and information technology. These critical—and sometimes hidden—services make up the engine that keep this institution running and help bring our University mission and vision to life.

It is the commitment of the Genesee Staff Council to represent the diverse voices and experiences of our staff as we partner with University leadership to strengthen opportunities for staff to learn, grow and know their value, and to create a more equitable and inclusive place to work.

As staff members, we invite you to share your ideas, questions, and concerns with us and can do so by participating in Genesee Staff Council-sponsored forums and/or contacting us.
