Nurse Entrepreneurs: Skills to Advance the Profession’s Mission of Social Change
Join the Ain Center for Entrepreneurship and School of Nursing for lunch and a talk by Dr. Mattia Gilmartin on Wednesday, April 18 from noon to 1pm in 1-510 Helen Wood Hall!
Dr. Gilmartin is the Executive Director of Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) and a faculty member at NYU’s College of Nursing. She has extensive experience in healthcare innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
On the 18th, Dr. Gilmartin will share her experiences with social and healthcare entrepreneurship, as well as innovation within established institutions. She will also talk about opportunity identification and the new venture lifecycle – a link between enterprise and nursing.
