Join fellow students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members on Wednesday, November 16, at 4:45 p.m. in Schlegel 207 for the Ain Center for Entrepreneurship Lecture Series featuring Yash Sabharwal, PhD, UR ’92. Yash will speak about “Managing Complexity in Technology-Based Entrepreneurial Ventures.”
Yash is an alumnus of the University of Rochester, graduating with a degree in Optics in 1992. Yash founded Optical Insights in 1997, which was a leader in the development of spectral imaging systems for fluorescence microscopy, high-throughput screening (HTS), and high-content screening (HCS). In 2010, Yash joined the technical co-founders of Xeris Pharmaceuticals to formally launch the company in 2011, serving as COO and CFO. In addition to his Optics degree, Yash received his Master and PhD in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona.
