Jeanine Hayes is Chief IP Officer at NIKE, Inc. where she is responsible for responsible for the company’s global intellectual property functions. In her role, Ms. Hayes oversees the company’s various IP groups, including those responsible for patents, trademarks, domains and copyrights.
At UR, Ms. Hayes completed a B.S. in Optics from the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, studied business at Simon Business School, and was a team member of both the women’s soccer and track & field teams. A registered patent attorney, she also received her law degree from Loyola Law School where she was Articles Editor of Law Review. In her career, Ms. Hayes has served as General Counsel; IP and Litigation Counsel for Overture Services (formally Goto.com), VP and Deputy General Counsel for Yahoo!, and VP, Global IP for NIKE, Inc.
