Garrett Warshay

Portrait of Garrett Warshay, PsyDGarrett received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Lawrence University in 2014, graduating cum laude with psychology honors. He continued his education at Fordham University, receiving his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2016. Following his time at Fordham, he received his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver in 2020. He completed his predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester University Counseling Center and became an NYS licensed psychologist in 2021.

Garrett is currently in private practice in Rochester, primarily working with individuals and couples. He also supervises clinicians in training and plans to start facilitating groups. Garrett’s clinical interests include working with dreams and early memories, personality syndromes, issues concerning the therapy frame, supervision, and teaching. He is perplexed by office decor and would gladly listen to any thoughts on the matter.
