Each year, Temple Sinai of Penfield hosts a Mitzvah Day event in which they offer a variety of free services to non-profit organizations across Rochester. This year the faithful day falls on Sunday, May 5th, and Horizons at Warner is lucky to be the recipient of Temple Sinai’s generosity again.
We plan to help volunteers at Temple Sinai fill out birthday cards for each and every one of our Horizons at Warner students, complete with envelopes and addresses, so that they are ready to be sent out at the beginning of each birthday month. This gesture is a testament to the commitment that we have to students and their families, who become like family to us over the course of the summer program and throughout the nine consecutive years each student spends growing with us.
We are so thankful to Temple Sinai for making our vision of celebrating all of our student birthdays a reality.
