At the Rochester Center for Community Leadership (RCCL), students, faculty, staff, and others come together to create positive change in the Rochester community and beyond. Through this process, they become engaged citizens and leaders capable of creating positive social change in their communities.
We envision a world in which people of diverse backgrounds collaborate to strengthen their communities. We believe communities are strongest when their members are active and engaged in community service, leadership, and civic life. That’s why we start with you. When you better yourself, you also better your community.
We help you to cultivate the skills, experiences, and resources to create innovative solutions to complex societal issues. Then we connect you with communities on campus, throughout Rochester, across the country, and around the world to enact these solutions.
The Rochester Center for Community Leadership is a unit in the Office of the Dean of Students.
