Rochester Every Day (RED)
The Rochester Every Day (RED) program is a FREE student discount program meant to provide an economic incentive for students to explore the city of Rochester and patronize local businesses.
Launched in 2003 by a group of entrepreneurial undergraduates, RED has steadily grown to include 150 local eateries, shops, entertainment venues, and service providers.
For more information, including a list of participating businesses, visit: www.rochester.edu/red
Undergraduate students in the College, as well as graduate students at the Simon School of Business, are eligible to receive a free RED sticker for their ID card that provides them with access to discounts at over 150 locations.
Students can receive these stickers from several different locations:
- Rochester Center for Community Leadership, 107 Lattimore Hall
- Common Connection, 201 Wilson Commons
- ID-card office, Customer Service Center in Susan B. Anthony Hall
Students are encouraged to use the RED website as a resource when exploring new dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
Rochester-area businesses can attract University of Rochester students through the RED student discount program.
The program requires businesses to make a year-long commitment to offer a special discount to UR students. In return, businesses will be listed on the RED website, free of charge, and will be promoted at various events on campus throughout the year.
