Academic Program Guidelines
Program assessment and review are designed to foster continual improvement of programs and support student achievement.
As part of the assessment cycle, academic degree programs:
- Identify the key learning outcomes (knowledge, skills, or competencies) that students will be able to demonstrate upon successful completion of the program.
- Design courses and learning experiences that provide opportunities for students to achieve the learning outcomes.
- Assess student achievement with respect to the intended outcomes.
- Use the assessment data to continually improve teaching and learning.
