Giving
Every fraternity and sorority at the University of Rochester has a gift account to provide you with a direct option to support a particular organization. Individuals interested in the George Eastman Circle may also direct their gift to a fraternity or sorority.
Use of Funds
Fraternities and Sororities can access their gift accounts for expenses that support their educational mission. Groups have used their gift funds for a range of expenses, including:
- House/floor amenities (ex. televisions) beyond those provided by Residential Life
- Composites
- National Convention and leadership training fees
- Holding a chapter retreat
- Planning networking events, such as Meliora Weekend receptions

Accessing Gift Funds
An organization can access its gift account funds by completing the Fund Request Form.
