Why did you choose UR for graduate education (other than for your advisor)?

I chose UR primarily for the smaller class sizes and the ability to personalize my education. In my time at UR, I've been able to take courses in other departments, do a one-on-one independent study, and have joined a working group with faculty.

What resources or services (social, academic, or anything else) have you found most helpful at UR?

The best resource for me at UR has been my graduate coordinator. From navigating tricky paperwork to filling out internal grant or reimbursement forms, Carrie has always had my back.

What are your favorite spots on or off-campus (restaurants, festivals, natural trails, or whatever) in Rochester?

I love cocktails! My favorite Rochester spots are where the best cocktails are...Cure, The Revelry, etc.
