Basically PhD Webinar Series

Applying to Graduate School

The University of Rochester recognizes the value of diversity at all levels of schooling, and the importance of educational opportunity, so we are offering these sessions for students who are first-generation college, low-income, and from heritage backgrounds underrepresented in higher education. This webinar series will be of interest to rising seniors as well as college students who are current juniors and sophomores—including community college students.

This webinar series will benefit anyone who wants to know more about what it means to pursue a PhD. After the series, participants will be better prepared to apply for doctoral programs when the time comes.

All participants receive a fee waiver to the University of Rochester Arts, Sciences & Engineering PhD programs if desired.

Webinars will be held via Zoom on the dates listed below. Each week will be a learning session followed by a live Q&A.

A Zoom link will be sent to those who register online.
