Symposium: President's and Deans' Awards

Natural Sciences

The President’s Award in the Natural Sciences division was awarded to DEREK CHIEN, whose research presentation was entitled, “Coarse-Grained Strategy for Modeling the Self-Assembly of Janus Nucleobases.”

The Deans Award in the Natural Sciences division was awarded to ASHLEY UPDIKE, whose research presentation was entitled, “Identification of Early Biomarkers for Sclerotic Vulvar Disease.”

Engineering & Math

The President’s Award in the Engineering and Math division was awarded to LORALAI CRAWFORD, whose research presentation was entitled, “Digital Ink and Surgical Dreams: Perceptions of AI-Generated Essays in Residency Applications.”

The Deans Award in the Engineering and Math division was awarded to ALEXANDER MARTIN, whose research presentation was entitled, “Jurassic World Remake.”

Humanities

The President’s Award in the Humanities division was awarded to CLARICE SPEIGHT MCKEE, whose research presentation was entitled, “From Belief to Retreat: Prophetic Failure in the Fifth Crusade.”

The Deans Award in the Humanities division was awarded to KENDAL JORDAN, whose research presentation was entitled, “Unveiling the Pixels: A Critical Analysis of Black Representation in Action Video Games.”

Social Sciences

The President’s Award in the Social Sciences was awarded to TRISHA MONDAL, whose research presentation was entitled, “Evaluating Interventions to Increase Cancer Screening Follow-up Rates in High-risk Emergency Department Patients.”

The Deans Award in the Social Sciences division was awarded to GARRETT BRIGGS, whose research presentation was entitled, “Testing the Effects of Artificial Intelligence Disclaimers in Political Advertising on Viewer Perceptions.”
