Open Faculty Forum: Online Education

On Monday, November 5th, we will host the second of an ongoing discussion in online education and the use of digital media in learning.  Our invited speaker is Jeremy Johnson, Co-founder and President, Undergraduate Programs at 2U (formerly known as 2tor).  See link:  http://2u.com/

 During the session, Jeremy will focus the discussion on his experiences in online education broadly; discuss MOOCs from his perspective; the differentiation of the market place from graduate education; professional programs; certification; undergraduate offerings; places like University of Phoenix, etc.   He will also entertain questions about curricular and program development as well as technical challenges.  Alana Rose, Director of University Relations at 2U, will be joining Jeremy for the discussion.
