Schlegel Hall Gets New Wing

Construction has begun on a 38,000-square-foot addition to Schlegel Hall that will add state-of-the-art classrooms to the home of the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration.

Financed in part through a $4 million leadership gift from the Rochester-based Gleason Foundation, the addition will increase usable space in the building by nearly 64 percent, housing five new classrooms, up to 16 study rooms, and a significantly expanded Career Services suite.

Scheduled for completion in 2001, the $9 million addition will be named James S. Gleason Hall in honor of the Gleason Foundation's president and director.
