Former teacher and real estate agent Kathleen Cellura W (Mas) writes, “I am grateful for the education I received at Rochester. It has been put to good use, I do believe.” Kathleen is the Venice (Fla.) Opera Guild’s benefit coordinator and produced a concert by the opera guild last year. Kathleen is president of the College Club of Venice and a member of the Legacy Society of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, where she has a charitable fund in her name. . . . Diane England Reed W (Mas), ’87W (EdD) retired as superintendent of the Honeoye Falls-Lima (N.Y.) School District. She was superintendent for 14 years.

Joseph Doody S (MBA) is president of the North American delivery operation for Staples.

Deborah Dooley (PhD), ’90W (MS) is the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Nazareth College. She has been a member of Nazareth’s English faculty since 1978. . . . Donald Strickland (MS) was named to the board of directors of CDEX, a technology development company in Rockville, Md.

Robert DiNardo S (MBA) and Elizabeth Groat were married on October 8, 2005, in Syracuse, N.Y. Robert is an owner of SensGard, a hearing-protection product company, and Elizabeth is a chief advancement officer at the School of Nursing.

Donna Brindisi Wenk S (MBA), Mary Beth Cooper ’00S (MBA), and Patricia Bomba ’79M (Res) were finalists for the Women’s Council of Rochester’s Athena Award. Donna is a senior vice president at PaeTec Communications, Mary Beth is vice president for student affairs at Rochester Institute of Technology, and Patricia is medical director of geriatrics at Excellus BlueCross/BlueShield of the Rochester Region.

Joseph Lupone S (MBA) is president of Reflexite Display Optics in Rochester. . . . Tod Strohmayer (PhD) was one of three scientists to receive the 2006 Bruno Rossi Prize from the American Astronomical Society. Tod is a scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
