Séance for Sopranos
Eastman students Drew Johnston, Nate Padgett, Savanna Sokolnicki, and Korin Kormick (standing) argue over why a séance went awry in the Eastman Opera Theatre’s winter production of The Medium by Gian Carlo Menotti. Under the music direction of Benton Hess, Distinguished Professor of Voice, and the stage direction of Johnathon Pape, assistant professor of opera, the performance was one of the group’s three annual productions.
