Students

Document what you've learned about making things and get credit for it too! Our Fabrication Experience Log template makes great sharing simple:
Click Here to download the Log template (.docx file).

If you are a member of a student group that regularly makes physical things (fabricates), you have an opportunity to join the curation team! Each group can elect a member to represent their presence and activities on this website and update/expand its offerings. To get your group affiliated with The UR Guide to Fabrication, have your faculty advisor contact the Head Curator, Jim Alkins, at urguidetofab_s@u.rochester.edu. Training will be provided.

Educators

Insights and recommendations from educators are the bedrock of this website's content. You can't teach everyone everything you've learned about how students make things in lectures and labs, but you can publish your knowledge here for the perpetuating benefit for all. From faculty-authored articles to recommended website's to advice on useful content, The UR Guide to Fabrication's curation team welcomes your input. Send us an email at urguidetofab_s@u.rochester.edu.
