Summer is Rochester's favorite season.

From campus events to area attractions, the University is an exciting place to be during its warmest months.

Housing and dining

Living in on-campus housing is an enriching part of Rochester summer experience. All Summer Sessions and some Pre-College Programs students have the option to live on the River Campus.

There are more than 10 on-campus eateries—from a full-service restaurant to a sushi bar and pizza place—provide food that is not only fresh and tasty, but, whenever possible, locally grown.

Libraries

The River Campus Libraries offer a world-class research collection, including books, journals, and databases, as well as a wide array of digital media, and a host of services designed to support the needs of Rochester summer students.

Activities

Afternoons and evenings are filled with on-campus activities and the chance to explore campus and Rochester with your new friends.

Pre-College Programs students have a calendar of their own events, but are also invited to participate in the virtual and in-person programs offered for Summer Sessions students.
