Memorial/Funeral Service Request Form

Members of Rochester community can reserve the Interfaith Chapel for memorial services.

The fee for the use of the Sanctuary (190 seating capacity) is $350, payable to UR Interfaith Chapel no later than five days before the service.

Parking

Services between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday are discouraged due to limited parking on the River Campus. Metered parking on Wilson Blvd. and parking on the River Campus lots is free after 7 p.m. weekdays and all day on weekends. If you would like a reception on the River Level following the service please indicate the type of reception below. Otherwise please skip this section.

Shuttle service maybe requested through the Chapel for an additional $110/hr. (2 hrs. minimum)

All audio equipment provided by the Chapel is to be operated by chapel staff or ECM staff only. Clients are not allowed to plug their own audio/visual equipment into any of the Chapel sound systems. (They may use electrical outlets only.)

Any damages to equipment or any property of the chapel will be the responsibility of the client. No food or drink allowed in the Sanctuary or lobby.

Payment is required at least five business days before your scheduled event.

Please consider several date and time options maximize opportunities for accommodation. If your event is canceled, please contact the Interfaith Chapel immediately to cancel your reservation.

Be advised that a request for space is not a guarantee. Your request may be declined if space is not available or all the details of your event are not provided to us. If the requested room is available confirmation will be sent via email. Once confirmation is received, reservation contract must be filled out and submitted.
