textSAY “MD”: First-year medical students line up for a selfie after a ceremony to formally welcome the MD Class of 2023 to the School of Medicine and Dentistry. During the annual Robert L. & Lillian H. Brent White Coat Ceremony, students receive the traditional lab jackets worn by physicians and medical scientists to symbolize that they’re joining their peers and predecessors in the profession.
