International Students

Tuition, Financial Aid, and Other Expenses

Tuition and Financial Aid

International students are considered for the same financial support as domestic students. If you are admitted, your letter will have a financial component detailing any aid you will be receiving from the University of Rochester should you accept your offer.

PhD candidates who are admitted will receive a full tuition scholarship, stipend, and health insurance. PhD student’s tuition, stipend, and health insurance is paid for through teaching and research assistantships.

Masters' applicants who are accepted typically receive a merit-based tuition scholarship.

All external funding must be reported to the University of Rochester.

See the cost of attendance page for detailed information.

Information on taxes and other relevant financial information can be found on the cost and financial support page.
