Worlds In Thailand and DC Tourney

The University of Rochester Debate Union started off 2020 competing at the World Universities Debating Championship in Thailand! WUDC is one of the biggest and hardest tournaments in the world with over 350 teams representing countries all around the world, but our squad still managed to win some rounds and learn a lot!

In D.C., Rochester AM, Ali Abdulla and Ben Morbeck, reached Double Octofinals and walked away with a trophy from this extremely difficult tournament. We also brought two novice teams who got a great education in policy debate from some tough competition. We anticipate more success this Spring!
