URDU Are Champions at Cornell

We are happy to report some fantastic results from Ithaca: Warish Zaman Orko and Tahsin Rakib Himi are Cornell Tournament of Love champions!
Hannah Yeager and Syed Sabeet Raza Kazmi finished as Quarterfinalists in the BP Novice National Championship – and at their first college debate tournament ever! Charles and Natasha finished as Semifinalists in Open.
We also carried home some speaker awards: Owen Villarreal was ranked 3rd Novice speaker in the Spanish division at his first tournament; Syed Sabeet Raza Kazmi was 2nd Novice ESL speaker; Tayfun Sahin was invited to judge in elimination rounds; and Warish was top ESL speaker and 2nd speaker in Open.
