        MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK

        Team Highlights
        •   The Yellowjacket men finished sixth of 13 teams at the NYSCTC Outdoor
           Championships
        •   Rochester won the Men’s 4x800 relay at the NYSCTC Outdoor Championships for the
           fourth consecutive year
        •   Five individuals and one relay ended the season with top-100 performances in the
           NCAA Division III rankings
        Individual Highlights
        •   Brant Crouse ’17 finished the season ranked 35th in NCAA Division III in the 400 hurdles
           and 40th in the 400 meters
        •   Crouse set a new school record in the 400 meters in winning the Oneonta Final Qualifier
           in :48.45. He also ran the second fastest time in school history in the 400 meters (54.02)
        •   The 4x400 team of Crouse, Nathaniel Kuhrt ’17, Wesley Clayton ’18, and Mark Westman
           ’20 teamed up to run 3:17.56 at the Oneonta Final Qualifier, which was the third fastest
           performance in Rochester history
        •   Dan Nolte ’17 ran 31:18.56 in the 10,000 meters at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic,
           which ranked #58 in NCAA Division III in 2017
        •   Eric Franklin ’17 earned the Athletic department’s Peter DiPasquale Award and CoSIDA’s
           First Team Academic All-District and Cross Country/Track and Field Academic All-
           American honors

        WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK

        Team Highlights
        •   The Yellowjacket women earned a runner-up team finish at the 2017 NYSCTC Outdoor

        •   The team finished 30th at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio
        •   The Rochester women finished the season ranked #24 in the NCAA Division III
           computer rankings published by USTFCCCA
        •   Yellowjacket athletes set new school records in seven different events during the 2017
           outdoor season
        Individual Highlights
        •   Kylee Bartlett ’19 completed a remarkable 2017 season by capturing the national title
           in the heptathlon at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships (her
           second national title this year, following an indoor pentathlon NCAA title in March) and
           tallied a school record score of 5,020 points in the seven-event competition
        •   Bartlett captured the NYSCTC heptathlon title by winning all seven individual events
           during the State Championships and was named NYSCTC Women’s Field Athlete of the
           Meet after capturing State titles in the heptathlon, long jump, and 100 hurdles
        •   Anne Peterson ’17 and graduate student Catherine Knox ’16 both set school records in
           the 3000 meter steeplechase (10:43.86) and the 10,000 meters (36:11.60), respectively,
           at the Bucknell University Bison Classic, qualifying both women for the NCAA Outdoor
           Championships
        •   Samantha Kitchen ’17 set a new school record 17:01.03 in the 5000 meters at the
           Colonial Relays at William & Mary, and qualified for the NCAA Championships in the
           5000 meters and 1500 meters.
        •   Eibhlin Regan ’17 broke a 26-year-old school record in the discus with a toss of 137’7”
           at the St. John Fisher Last Chance Meet in May. She ended the season ranked #43
           nationally in NCAA Division III.
        •   Laura Lockard ’17 won the Athletic department’s Terrence L. Gurnett Award and was
           awarded First Team Academic All-District by CoSIDA
        •   Bartlett was awarded both First Team Academic All-District and Cross Country/Track
           and Field All-American by CoSIDA
