Team Highlights
SAYAKA ABE ’17 • The Yellowjackets finished 2nd of 22 teams at the Roberts Wesleyan College

• The University of Rochester finished in the top half at the Lehigh University
Paul Short Run, one of the biggest meets in the country
• Seven Yellowjackets finished in the top half of the field at the NCAA Atlantic
Regional Championships
Individual Highlights
• Eric Franklin ’17 earned First Team All-UAA honors after finishing 6th overall
at the UAA Championships in Atlanta
• Franklin was also honored as a Garnish Scholar
• Eleven Yellowjackets earned UAA All-Academic awards

• The Yellowjackets finished 4th of 21 teams at the Roberts Wesleyan Harry
Anderson Invitational in September
• Rochester finished 5th at the UAA Championships in Atlanta
• The women closed the season with a 7th place finish at the NCAA Atlantic
Regional in New Jersey
Individual Highlights
• Anne Peterson ’17 was selected to compete at the NCAA Division III
Championship meet in Kentucky, where she finished 36th overall and
narrowly missed All-America honors
• Peterson and Samantha Kitchen ’17 both earned All-Region honors by
finishing 10th and 19th respectively at the NCAA Atlantic Regional
FIELD HOCKEY (18-5, 4-2 LIBERTY LEAGUE) • Peterson was also a First Team All-UAA honoree after earning a career-best
